Practical Life
Practical Life is the study of self-help skills and focuses on the four major areas, Care of Self, Care of Environment, Grace and Courtesy, and Movement.
Sensorial
Sensorial uses a multi-sensory approach to education. Children are encouraged to learn by processing information gathered through the senses.
Math
Math continues the cognitive math development that began in the Practical Life Skills and Sensorial curriculum, taking an acute focus and more abstract thinking process with concrete materials.

Our Programs
Private School Program
Stone Academy offers individualized academic programs tailored to meet each student’s unique learning needs, paired with a comprehensive therapeutic plan. We utilize specialized curriculum and instructional strategies, supported by low student-to-teacher ratios, to promote meaningful progress. One-to-one support is available when needed to ensure every student can succeed.
ABA Behavioral Services
Stone Academy partners with Behavioral Support Partnership (BSP) to provide on-campus Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. These services include assessments, paraprofessional support, an ABA clinic, social skills groups, adaptive skills training, in-home ABA services, and parent behavior intervention training—ensuring comprehensive support for students and families.
Seasonal Camps
Stone Academy hosts seasonal camps for neurodiverse children during school breaks. These camps focus on S.T.E.A.M. topics and life sciences through hands-on, experiential learning. With low student-to-counselor ratios and one-to-one support available, campers explore, discover, and learn that science truly is fun—while gaining a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Stone Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private special education program dedicated to serving students with Autism and related learning differences. Our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Using evidence-based practices and therapeutic supports, our dedicated faculty work collaboratively to support each student’s success and uphold the mission of our school.
