Welcome Prospective Parents

At Stone Academy, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive, individualized educational experience paired with meaningful therapeutic support for students on the Autism Spectrum and those with similar learning differences. Our program is designed to meet students where they are academically, socially, and emotionally, while nurturing their strengths and supporting their unique needs. Through evidence-based practices, low student-to-teacher ratios, and a compassionate team of educators and therapists, we create a safe, structured, and welcoming environment where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.

Admissions Process

We know it’s not easy to select the right school for your child. Our admission process makes it easier!

Step 1: Complete the Contact Form
We look forward to learning more about your family and your child. Please share your student’s age and grade level of interest so we can provide relevant information and notify you about availability and admission timelines.

Step 2: Submit an Application and Application Fee
After completing the Contact Form, families will receive an Application Form. A nonrefundable $100 Application Processing Fee is due at the time the application is submitted.

Step 3: Complete Academic and Therapeutic Assessments
To ensure we can meet each student’s academic and therapeutic needs, families will be asked to submit the following documents:
– Most recent Individualized Education Program (IEP)
– Behavior Support Plan (if applicable)
– Psychological/Educational Evaluation or Speech and Language Assessment
– Most recent school records or grades
– A signed Release of Information form allowing our evaluation team to consult with the professionals who prepared the documents
– An in-person student assessment to determine appropriate academic and therapeutic supports
(Please note: the student assessment may require an additional fee.)

Our goal is to thoughtfully evaluate how we can best support every student enrolled at Stone Academy.

Step 4: Participate in a Family Interview
Prior to enrollment, parents or guardians will meet with a member of Stone Academy’s administrative team to discuss the student’s educational history, therapeutic needs, and goals. We truly look forward to getting to know your family.
Following this step, families will receive an acceptance or denial notification via email. A denial may occur if Stone Academy does not have the therapeutic resources or staffing required to meet a student’s needs. Acceptance confirms that we believe we can appropriately support your child’s goals at Stone Academy.

Step 5: Finalize Enrollment and Submit Deposit
Upon acceptance, families will complete enrollment by signing a Tuition Agreement and submitting a nonrefundable Enrollment Deposit. We are excited to welcome you into the Stone Academy community!
